Platform Manager – Assets and Operations Services (Security System Team)Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Technical Lead in Physical Security System domain, overseeing end-to-end implementation of mission-critical IT systems, including architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.
- Drive initiatives aligned with long-term IT roadmaps for asset and operational services, focusing on scalability, resilience, and seamless integration across platforms.
- Serve as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery of services.
- Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies across projects and operations.
Spearhead integration of microservices, APIs, and low-code platforms (e.g., PowerApps) into operational workflows to streamline processes and improve user experience.
Requirements
- A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in IT service delivery.
- Proven experience managing teams, budgets, and large-scale IT implementations in the utilities or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge in any of below
- Physical Security Systems: LENEL, Milestone, PIAM
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud (hybrid/multi-cloud)
- Enterprise Integration: APIs, microservices, .NET, T-SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript
- Database Technologies: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Strong capabilities in vendor negotiation, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Experience in AI technologies and their application in operational workflows is a strong plus

2. Platform Manager – Assets and Operations Services (Smart Metering System Team)Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Team Lead in relevant domain, conducting user requirement analysis, end-to-end system design, system enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and service providers for solution planning, service delivery, and technical support.
- Lead and guide junior IT staff (analysts, associates) on project delivery and system support
- Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of IT systems which are crucial to CLP’s business operations, particularly those related to the Power System/Metering. Key systems include but are not limited to:
- Advanced Metering Infrastructure – Strategic Metering Platform
- Meter Data Management System
- Power Quality Monitoring and Analysis Platform
Participate in various system implementation lifecycle activities including development, deployment, testing, training, system cutover and rollout, documentation, maintenance, and support.
Requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines; a Master’s degree is desirable.
- 8-12 years of IT service experience.
- Extensive project management and vendor management experience across different cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Proven experience in supporting critical systems and working effectively under pressure (e.g., 7x24 incident response and management).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills with demonstrated ability in vendor, change, people and stakeholder management.
- Proactive, results-driven with a strong performance orientation.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, fluent in Mandarin is desirable.
- Domain knowledge in Metering is highly desirable.
- Knowledge / experience in DevOps, Test Automation, and API-based application integrations, AI concept and adoption would be highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge in any three of the following areas:
- IT applications in utilities or energy sectors
- Technologies including .NET, .NET Framework, JavaScript, PowerShell, Microservices, T-SQL, RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Streaming / Queuing technology (e.g. Kafka, MSMQ)

3. Platform Manager – Assets and Operations Services (Outage Management Team)Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Team Lead in relevant domain, conducting user requirement analysis, end-to-end system design, system enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and service providers for solution planning, service delivery, and technical support.
- Lead small-to-medium sized IT projects on project delivery and system support
- Lead and guide junior IT staff (analysts, associates) on project delivery and system support
- Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of IT systems which are crucial to CLP’s business operations, particularly those related to the Power System/Outage Management. Key systems include but are not limited to:
- Outage Management System
- Outage Planning & Notification System
- Enterprise Data Historian (OSISoft PI)
