Your Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Platform & Infrastructure Lead to drive our infrastructure and platform initiatives. In this strategic role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust systems and infrastructure that support our innovative AI-driven technology and products.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and management of the platform’s infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement strategies for scaling our services and applications while optimizing resources.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of platform requirements with product goals.
- Manage vendor relations and oversee relationships with cloud service providers.
- Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, and automation to streamline operations.
- Monitor situations, manage incidents, and conduct root cause analyses to provide solutions to complex technical problems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions that align with our growth goals.
- Mentor and lead a team of infrastructure engineers and DevOps specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing platforms and infrastructure, particularly in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience in building and scaling systems that meet industry security and data compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience in system monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus) with the capability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
