⭐ Role Overview
We’re looking for an engineering leader to drive the performance, reliability, and quality of Lodgify’s Runtime platform (Core Platform, Infrastructure, SRE). You’ll lead cross-team initiatives, mentor Engineering Managers, and champion best practices that boost productivity and help teams deliver value faster.
You’ll also enable our data and AI teams by building a scalable and robust infrastructure, allowing them to focus on insights and innovation.

⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Lead Lodgify’s Runtime area (Core Platform, Infrastructure, SRE) and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring services deliver real value to engineering teams.
- Define an architecture strategy aligned with business goals and technology vision.
- Improve system performance, observability, and disaster recovery, optimizing KPIs like availability, response times, and deployment metrics.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top platform engineering talent while promoting continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product, security, and other teams to deliver impactful improvements.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities, reduce costs, and improve developer experience.
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- At least 3 years of leading platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams, and 10+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of platform architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to define and execute architecture and platform strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Experience driving cross-team initiatives to improve engineering productivity.
- Skilled in observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering high-performing teams.
- Passion for innovation, evaluating new technologies, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We Do
Lodgify is a constantly growing tech start-up, focused on building vacation rental software that enables vacation rental owners to independently manage and market their business online. We do so by providing them with easy-to-build websites, including a booking and reservation system, various synchronisation options, and payment collection options. We are +300 Lodgifiers strong, and you can find us working in Barcelona and all around the world!
