Today, the mid-market segment (300 to 5k employee companies) is vastly underserved when it comes to their procurement processes. These companies struggle with outdated and old fashioned tools, dragged down by decades of tech legacy that create more problems than they solve in the day-to-day work of their employees.

Pivot is committed to solving this by building a smart, engaging and user-friendly procurement tool for employees, streamlining purchase processes while providing the right level of control and reporting. We are creating automations and integrations that simplify the work across all finance teams, freeing them up to be more strategic... and surely happier too!

The adventure started mid-2023 with three founders, former C-levels from fintech unicorns (Qonto and Swile) and highly experienced engineer from top-notch tech companies.

Since then we’ve raised €5M in pre-seed and €20M in Series A with tier-1 investors and built a team of 50 with a product operating with +50 customers across 15 countries.

We are looking for smart, execution-driven people to join our team, with a strong focus on excellence and a desire to achieve great things as a team.

What you will do

• Be one of our early engineers, and help us prepare for scale, hand-in-hand with the rest of the team and the CTO.

• Improve and maintain our platform reliability, database resilience, performance optimizations, indexing, alerting & observability systems.

• Implement and improve our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, GitHub Actions workflows, and
  feature flag management to support a fast-growing product.

• Manage our infrastructure & cloud operations.

• Drive transversal initiatives to boost developer productivity and ensure smooth collaboration with other teams, through better tooling, automation, and AI systems.

Skills and experiences

• You have 6+ years of experience, including Software engineering & Platform / DevOps / SRE roles.

• You are fluent in English – it is our business language.

• You’re pragmatic, autonomous, adaptable, and thrive in a builder’s mindset.

• You have hands-on experience with tools like Elastic Cloud, Sentry, GitHub, SonarCloud...

• You care about system reliability and have solid experience with cloud and database
  technologies such as Heroku, and PostgreSQL.

• You care about Dev experience and build workflows that make the team more productive.

• You like solving problems and making complex things simple.

• You are curious, open-minded, and non-dogmatic.

• You are results-driven, you know how to be efficient and make the right trade-offs.

• You always want to keep learning and you are comfortable with confronting ideas.

• You enjoy the pace and challenges and want to grow within a fast-moving start-up.
