We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who brings together strong agile product development skills with a passion for infrastructure as code and modern deployment practices. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with agile product teams, helping them ship faster and more reliably by embedding best-in-class delivery practices into the development lifecycle—making them the default, not the exception.
At Multitude, the Platform Engineering team empowers our product engineers to deliver quickly and safely. We believe that happy developers are productive developers, so we treat our internal platform as a product—shifting the undifferentiated heavy lifting away from teams. This reduces cognitive load and ensures that security and architectural best practices are consistently applied across the board.
Your focus:
- Collaborate with product engineering teams practicing eXtreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and trunk-based development.
- Build reusable “golden paths” and internal platform components that embed secure, scalable, and compliant development workflows.
- Develop platform components using Go, Python, or similar languages to elevate the developer experience.
- Embed infrastructure as code and CI/CD best practices to support rapid, secure, and scalable deployments.
- Support secure infrastructure design following Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, CIS Benchmarks, and Well-Architected principles.
- Reduce cognitive load for product teams by offering standardized, pre-approved deployment and security tooling.
- Collaborate on incident response and ensure reliability and observability are designed from day one.
Required skills & qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience, ideally with Azure (experience with AWS is a plus).
- Proficient in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, zero-downtime and progressive deployments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (K8s), AKS, and Docker.
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and API Gateway design.
- Background in DevSecOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.
- Mastery of Agile methodologies, TDD, trunk-based development, code reviews, and collaborative coding practices.

The starting salary for this position is €3,500 gross per month. The final offer will be determined fairly, based on your experience, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
