Role Purpose:
We are looking for someone to join us at Boku as a Platform/Site Reliability Engineer in Estonia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing our cloud-based solutions using Infrastructure as a code (IaC). Additionally, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams to implement best practices and regularly review existing systems for improvement
Key Responsibilities:
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure/ Platform engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing tools, especially AWS.
- Deep knowledge of computer networking architecture, protocols and standards
- Experience in and in-depth understanding of security standards and best practices
- Proficiency with public key infrastructure and relevant standards
- A Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB) and an openness to exploring cloud-first options
- Familiarity with messaging brokers like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Enthusiasm for taking the initiative to propose solution designs
- Skilled at least in one programming language
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable with agile environment
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Certifications (not a must, but preferable)
