Duties & Responsibilities:
Designing, developing and deploying business software at scale to telecom customers worldwide.
Deploying and maintaining solutions in various infrastructure environments.
Verify technical feasibility and validate solution options for the requirements.
Align with product and development teams on providing training, knowledge transfer and subject matter expertise.
Translate the company’s business requirements into systems design, including high-availability and disaster recovery.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to adjust the messaging based on the audience.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (Using & Administration, including deployment of Kubernetes or K3S).
Developing and maintaining Helm Charts and Docker files from open.
Deploying solutions in different environments (OpenStack, Proxmox, Bare Metal).
Experience with GitOps approach and ArgoCD/FluxCD.
Software development knowledge of at least one of these programming languages: Python, Bash (Go, Java can be an advantage).
Strong Linux Administrator skills (managing network configuration, users, permissions, debugging various issues).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform/Ansible.
CI/CD environment creation and maintenance using Atlassian Bamboo/Azure DevOps/Gitlab Actions.
Developing tests in a TDD approach – Behave testing framework.
Bonus points for:
Experience influencing application modernization and migration to cloud platforms.
Worked with cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.
Broad knowledge in systems logging, monitoring and telemetry (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and tools - X-Ray (Artifactory), Trivy, CIS, Nessus, Sealed Secrets, SOPS, OWASP, Renovate.
Familiarity with GenAI tools, working and extending (Claude Code skills, etc.).
Experience documenting microservices based, system architectures via modeling diagrams and effectively transitioning those architectures to implementation teams.
Must be based in Spain, ideally commutable to Barcelona or Madrid.
