We are looking for an experienced Boomi Infrastructure/Platform Engineer with expertise in deploying and managing Boomi Atom/Molecule (Runtime) environments on private cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) using Kubernetes.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Boomi Atom/Molecule (Runtime) in private cloud environments (AWS/Azure). Boomi now refers to these as "Runtime" and "Runtime Cluster," though many organizations still use the Atom/Molecule terminology.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/OpenShift or self-managed clusters).
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Knowledge of Linux administration, networking, SSL certificates, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience implementing High Availability (HA), scaling, monitoring, and disaster recovery for Boomi runtimes.
- Experience with CI/CD automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure services, IAM, Secrets Management, storage, and networking.
- Ability to troubleshoot Boomi runtime performance and infrastructure-related issues.
- Boomi Runtime Architecture or Platform certifications are preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure/DevOps.
- 2+ years administering Boomi Runtime (Atom/Molecule) environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) is a plus
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience administering Boomi (Molecular/Atom/MCS) environments
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure container services (ECS, EKS, AKS, ACI)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
- Understanding of runtime/platform security hardening practices
- Prior experience in integration or platform engineering in a large enterprise or public sector
