Role Overview

The ERP Platform Engineer is a key member of the Global ERP Platform team, responsible for the lifecycle management of critical platforms, including SAAS Platforms, S4 Fashion, CAR, ECC, BW , Development pipelines only name a few.

This role ensures these platforms remain secure, scalable, and cost-effective while driving adoption and best practices across the organization.
 

The ERP Platform Engineer will advise on the platform strategy, roadmap planning, and cost optimization, ensuring alignment with business needs. Additionally, this role plays a crucial part in enabling business users and development teams by providing Level 3 support, training, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Contribute to PVH’s strategic technology plan, ensuring that it enables and supports the delivery of enterprise goals and objectives. Develop strategy alongside senior management as it relates to the organization's ERP system and ancillary Finance and Supply Chain Systems.
  • Own the full lifecycle of platforms, from design and implementation to maintenance and decommissioning.
  • Lead and implement SAP archiving across various ERP platforms like S4, ECC, BW and CAR.
  • Lean and manage the SAAS platforms like BTP, SAC, GRDC, ARIBA and various others.
  • Strong hands-on prior experience in the area of SOX and other ERP audit requirements.
  • Strong hands-on experience in the area of cloud migrations and workload management like AWS, RISE , AZURE etc.
  • Conduct broad reviews on incoming incident tickets and user requests to ensure prioritization in accordance with the service level agreements.
  • Oversee tickets and escalations. Respond to critical systems events and outages; drive activities based on priority and SLA’s.
  • Maintain high level of visibility and operational stability of the SAP Platform, facilitating periodic metric review of KPIs
  • Provides broad oversight for release management processes and the programming, configuration, testing and deployment of fixes or updates for application version releases.
  • Work closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless platform integration.
  • Optimize platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through proactive management and automation.
  • Champion automation and DevOps methodologies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Leads the team to conduct advanced and complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
  • Reviews and approvals, the recommended improvements for moderate to advanced and highly complex application specific support processes and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to enable business users and developers to maximize platform capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of self-service by improving documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Support cost governance by monitoring platform spending and identifying areas for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP and SAAS services
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, RISE is a must
  • Experience managing the implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support of large ERP applications in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in leading through a transition to modern ERP platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization
  • Strong understanding of automation, auditability, and availability in cloud environments and on-premises solutions
  • Communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across global teams
  • Project Management skills are a plus

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience in navigating complex organizations, creative problem solving, and rational experimentation.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Solid analytical skills, experience solving practical issues and engaging cross functional teams of multiple process partners to gain consensus.
  • Exceptional ability to lead changes using positive and collaborative methods.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Expertise in managing and collaborating with global teams.
  • Deep understanding of automation and leveraging where possible.
