Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to architect, build, and maintain next-generation AWS cloud platform. This role combines deep technical expertise in Information Security, Identity and Access Management, cloud architecture, networks, and DevOps practices while ensuring platform reliability, security, and operational excellence. Periodic international travel may be required.

How will you contribute?

Platform Architecture (40%)
Design and Implementation of cloud network architectures, primarily in AWS
Advanced level understanding of VPCs, subnets routing, and Transit Gateways
Implement and manage core AWS networking services such as Route 53, Direct Connect, and VPNs
Optimize network performance for high availability
Ensure multi-tenant isolation and resource management
Identify and design system security requirements using security best practices and compliance requirements
Advanced understanding of NACLs and Security Groups
Develop standard operating procedures and protocols
Advanced understanding of IPAM and DNS
Monitor and troubleshoot network issues
Design and implementation of hybrid cloud connectivity solutions
Create and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams
Lead security incidents involving cloud network systems
Architect high-availability solutions ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery
Optimize platform performance and resource utilization across environments
Define integration patterns for microservices architectures

Infrastructure Automation (40%)
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS resources

Skills Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum of six years' experience in Platforms Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering on AWS
Design and implementation of AWS network architectures (VPCs, subnets, routing, Transit Gateway)
Experience with Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs, IPAM, and DNS
Strong understanding and configuration experience with NACLs and Security Groups
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for AWS resources
GitOps workflows and Git experience
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Concourse CI experience listed)
Monitoring and observability using Prometheus and DataDog
Kubernetes and Docker experience
Shell scripting and automation of operational tasks
Authentication and security technologies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Keycloak
Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and high-availability / disaster recovery design
Experience with rate limiting and traffic control systems
Participation in on-call rotation and incident response leadership for cloud network systems
