About the position:
Ditto aims to expand the internet beyond traditional reach. Our groundbreaking software empowers devices to synchronize data in real-time, using cutting-edge peer-to-peer technology that runs on mobile, web, IoT, and server systems. We are looking for a Platform Engineer to focus on building infrastructure and test tooling that allows us to deliver high-quality software, with speed, at scale.
As a Platform Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and manage automation tools for build, release, and deployment cycle
- Develop, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and improve the efficiency of overall development processes
- Design and develop system logging, observability, and monitoring tools
- Work closely with software engineering teams to ensure infrastructure is reliable and scalable
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation platform architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Troubleshoot to quickly resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Provide support for field exercises and production operations for our customers in the defense department
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years as a DevOps, DevSecOps, or Platform engineer
- Experience with best practices in system design, automation, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
- Extensive experience with Linux based systems
- Extensive experience with container technology including Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with provisioning infrastructure through IAC
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain security clearance
Nice to haves:
- Experience with command & control systems and/or telemetry databases
- Experience with Git and GitHub, GitLab,
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience working with agile development teams
