Job Title
We are part of Airport IT. We are supporting multiple airports across the world. We have different products which are used at airports. E,g like Flight information systems, Airport Operations systems, biometrics etc. Airports' IT covers multiple applications to manage flights, fixed and mobile resources, public/private/mobile displays of information, and multiple other software solutions to optimize their critical activity. You will discover the hidden face of an airport, the huge complexity to handle ground operations when thousands of persons are synchronized through complex processes, the challenges for the IT teams, and the key improvements we design and deliver to them.
Development and Platform Enablement team is in charge of:
- Implementing and maintaining applications hosted on AWS, Azure cloud
- System administration activities on Windows and Linux machines
- Automation of operational and releasing activities using scripting
- Production support for cloud hosted applications
We are looking for a Platform Engineer DevOps who will be doing the maintenance and production support of applications hosted on Cloud. They should be investigating, troubleshooting and solving technical issues encountered on the platforms. Supporting releasing activities for different cloud applications. Coordinating with different teams. Performing POC in new/upcoming technologies.
In this role you’ll be:- Handling Platform incidents requests
- Performing health checks of various systems
- Performing releasing of software components
- Do automation of different manual tasks
- Suggesting improvements in existing operational processes
- Work on maintenance and upgrade of different technologies used in the ecosystem
- Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Good English communication skills
- +2 years of experience using Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Java
- Good understanding of certificates, Jboss, Apache, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Grafana
- Basic understanding of networking, ServiceNow
- Experience in Vulnerability remediation.
- Okay to do on-call support in follow the sun model
- Ready to travel( <5% per year)
