We are looking for a Senior Platform Development Engineer, whom we call Platform Development Engineer-II, to help evolve and scale our core engineering platforms. In this role, you’ll build robust, self-service platforms that empower developers to ship faster, operate confidently, and deliver value with minimal friction.
In this 12-month contract role as a Platform Development Engineer-II, you will play a critical role in codifying infrastructure, expanding self-service capabilities, and driving operational excellence across our platform ecosystem. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who thrives on execution, automation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Design and implement scalable self-service capabilities across our engineering platforms
Improve developer experience by simplifying onboarding, deployment, and operational workflows
Translate architectural designs into production-grade implementations
Drive platform reliability, security, and performance improvements aligned with industry best practices
Collaborate with Tech Leads, developers, and operations teams to ensure platform capabilities meet evolving business needs
Participate in support rotation, including occasional after-hours response, to maintain platform stability
Maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and platform adoption
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), engineering automation, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, containers, GitOps, and cloud-native applications.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, HCL, or similar tools.
Knowledge of Terraform, cloud identity (Entra ID), networking, and security.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and platform reliability/observability skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
