About The Role:
The PWM Analytics roles within Baird’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) Wealth Solutions Group (WSG) have a mission to support PWM’s growth strategy through effective use of action-oriented data and analytics. We provide the PWM business – both home office associates and the branch network - with trusted, accessible, and relevant information to support the business, encourage better wealth management outcomes for clients, and drive sustainable growth.
The role will lead the creation of scalable analytics solutions for PWM’s Technology stack, influencing strategic technology decisions and serving as the connective tissue between data, technology, and business decision-making. This role will be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities related to investment decisions and client/advisor engagement from the perspective of PWM Technology. This position offers significant exposure within the firm, and the individual will build and maintain relationships with our Technology Product Managers, other PWM Analytics roles, and IT partners. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable diving into data models as they are presenting a business case to stakeholders.

Analytics Product Ownership
- Act as Product Owner for platform analytics solutions; maintain and prioritize backlog, and translate business needs into technical requirements, and technical requirements to business stakeholders.
- Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, utilization, and engagement impact.
- Lead business scenario planning, collaborate on & refine solution prototyping, and assist in technical and business documentation.
- Assess and sequence overall platform analytics efforts by evaluating business needs, data availability, UX/CX priorities, and opportunity impact.
- Identify and align competing analytics priorities across platforms, uncover cross-platform synergies to measure and develop KPIs, and ensure cohesive product roadmap planning in close collaboration with product managers.
Technology & Business Partnership
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Wealth Center, Product Managers, IT, Operations) to align insights with business strategy and translating insights into technical requirements with IT team members.
- Analyze user data to identify enhancement opportunities across PWM technology stack.
- Support UAT, rollout, and communication of analytics tools.
Data & Reporting Strategy
- Design and deliver impactful dashboards and reporting tools using Snowflake, PowerBI, and SQL.
- Partner with IT to enhance platform data pipelines; ensure data is consumable, trusted, and actionable.
- Identify automation opportunities across current reporting processes.
Adoption, Training & Change Enablement
- Serve as SME and internal evangelist for platform analytics capabilities.
- Translate complex data insights and technical topics into business-friendly communications.
- Support training and enablement across Wealth Solutions Group, Wealth Center partners, and business leaders.
What You'll Bring To Baird:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced analytics or technical focus preferred.
- Series 7/66 licensing within the first year required.
- Minimum of 3 years in analytics, product management, or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, and Snowflake; proficiency in Python preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture (e.g., Snowflake) and scalable data solution deployment.
- Strong storytelling skills—able to connect data to action in compelling ways.
- Experience in technology-enabled business transformation or fintech/wealthtech preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
