The Platform Administrator Co‑op provides hands-on experience supporting enterprise cloud-based and SaaS analytics platforms. This role is designed for students in an academic co‑op program who are interested in cloud architecture, platform operations, and learning how modern data and AI platforms are supported in a real-world environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support operational administration of cloud and SaaS platforms (Power Bi, Reltio, Informatica)
- Monitor platform health, jobs, and data refreshes
- Learn to troubleshoot issues, investigate failures, and assist with root-cause analysis
- Help manage user access, roles, and permissions
- Document issues, solutions, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with BI, AI, Data Engineering, and Platform teams in an Agile environment
What You’ll Learn
- Fundamentals of cloud architecture and SaaS platform operations
- How enterprise analytics platforms are supported and governed
- Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to production systems and operational best practices
- How cross‑functional data and analytics teams work together
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate co‑op program
- Major in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in cloud technologies and platform operations
- Curious, analytical mindset with a willingness to learn
- Good communication and documentation skills
Helpful / Preferred
- Coursework or exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900) course or certification is helpful
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts (compute, storage, networking, identity)
- Familiarity with SQL, data, or analytics tools is a plus
Co‑op Experience
- Full-time, structured co‑op aligned with academic requirements
- Mentorship from experienced platform and data professionals
- Real-world assignments with increasing responsibility
