The Plant SSAL is responsible and accountable for the Physical & Virtual Inventory Management and its Security. As an owner of the Physical Network Infrastructure, you will guarantee at a constant high level of security against cyber security threats.
This covers existing and newly deployed systems as part of CAPEX projects.
You will actively support new line/ equipment deployments within a plant according to Mondelez policy.
This position provides support by playing a focused role in all industrial automation & control needs of the plant to eventually deliver best-in-class systems in terms of line synchronization, optimal clasp between various systems such as PLC programming, HMIs, SQLs & Servo drives, energy monitoring, catering the entire needs of the plant ensuring zero unplanned downtime by design.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for updating the overall line automation documentation and in coordination with activities of other departments and suppliers in order to provide Mondelēz competitive advantage.
How you will contribute
Owns all production related site security and automation systems within a plant in terms of reliability, robustness against cyber-attacks, ongoing routine maintenance and trouble shooting in case of emergencies by:
- Accountable to maintain and improve the cybersecurity robustness state including day-to-day maintenance covering all plant automation systems
- Owns the operational infrastructure and network security
- Responsible of regular patch deployment in coordination with Cluster SSAL
- Accountable for plant compliance (incl. 3rd party providers) to company standards for automation, infrastructure (MINT) and cyber security
- Issue escalation point for Automation, CCN Automation Infrastructure or cyber security relative to plant operations
- Responsible to report status, issues and plans to the plant Management team and integrates plant business needs into technology roadmap
- Manage exceptions for MINT standards that are not possible to meet
- Participation in cluster automation & systems development and security communications
- Responsible to track and maintain plant digital asset inventory information over the lifecycle.
- Leads full budgeting process for all cost centers in their area of responsibility. Prepares annual automation budget, monitors it's cost centers monthly and independently initiates corrective measures in the event of deviations.
- Ensure timely update and completion of all automation documentation needed for the plant.
- Complete Risk Assessment of the complete automation grid & power back-up of the plant
- Acts as an ambassador and role model for Continuous improvement and the Integrated Lean Six Sigma journey.
What you will bring

- Technical apprenticeship in Automation or related fields with higher technical education (bachelor's degree FH/University)
- Ability to take and manage risk effectively and work in a team environment cohesively within cross-functional teams with an ability to achieve total manufacturing impact.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation and /or project engineering environment
- Proven experience of OT Security in a range of cyber security domains (Network, Endpoint protection, Application, Firewall, User and Remote Access)
- Expertise in IOT/ Industry 4.0 and cyber security technologies as well as proven knowledge in Rockwell, Siemens Automation
- Reliable, innovative, honest, independent, flexible, and resilient team player with strong communication skills and proven working experience in cross-functional teams in a FMCG-manufacturing environment
- Technical curiosity, continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigor
- Fluency in English and German is a must
- Experience in Project Management, IL6S processes and TPM is a plus
