We’re looking for a hospitality-minded Plant Operations Coordinator who is organized, proactive, and enjoys helping people. If you’re a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities and keep things moving, we’d love to have you join our team.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Pay: $21/hour
The Plant Operations Coordinator serves as the central hub for Plant Operations, coordinating workflow across maintenance, housekeeping, janitorial, grounds, and IT services.
This position manages the work order system, monitors daily activity, prioritizes requests, tracks completion, and helps ensure residents receive timely and exceptional service.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Manage the work order system, including reports, metrics, inventory tracking, and apartment finishes.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide weekly reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Review billable work orders for accuracy and prepare reports to support timely resident billing.
- Serve as a primary contact for resident and Concierge escalations, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, visitors, and team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall service.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least two years of experience in residential apartment maintenance or a related field.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Previous lead or coordination experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or a similar environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with WorxHub or another work order management system preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A professional, courteous, flexible, and service-oriented approach.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
