What You’ll Do:
- Monitors and supervises the work of all plant personnel to include but not limited to:
- Recruits, orients and trains all direct reports to ensure safety and competency of assigned duties
- Conducts performance evaluations, counsels, disciplines, and recommends termination of plant personnel when appropriate
- Monitors time/timecards of all personnel and enforces use of required meal/rest breaks, schedules, and records additional time off (vacation, sick, wellness and leave of absences)
- Attends and participates in management meetings (Sales, Weekly Touchpoints, ARC 100, etc.) to maintain open communication between departments and provide plant specific update
- Reviews the daily yard status report submitted by the plant operator/ lead person
- Responsible for plant compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and statutes, labor laws, and all other regulatory agencies
- Ensures that all RFQ and proposals are followed up in a timely manner and activities are documented and reported to sales manager
- Collaborates with Sales manager to forecast sales and implement marketing, advertising, and signage programs
- Assists senior management in equipment evaluation including ROI analysis
- Additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- Education: High School Diploma; preferred; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (mining, construction science, engineering etc.) with construction/ aggregate experience
- Experience:
- Required: Three (3) or more years’ experience working in an aggregate recycling operation, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory position.
- Preferred: Five (5) or more years’ experience in all aspects of aggregate recycling with at least three (3) years in a supervisory position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to climb heights of 15 feet on a regular basis
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in dusty, loud noise environment
- Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $87,000 to $139,000 annually. Pay rate offered will be determined by the applicant's experience, skills, and abilities.
