An outstanding opportunity to join a global manufacturing leader and make a lasting impact. Our client is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at their Juárez facility and business units. This is a critical leadership role that combines operational excellence, people leadership, and customer focus. The successful candidate will drive transformation, full P&L responsibility, team development, and strategic alignment with U.S. corporate leadership. The Plant Manager will oversee a team of 12 direct reports and report directly to the U.S. Corporate office.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally with multi-unit or complex plant oversight.
- Proven expertise across both high-volume/low-mix and low-volume/high-mix production environments.
- Strong financial and operational acumen with full P&L ownership experience.
- Demonstrated success leading Kaizen, Lean, and Operational Excellence initiatives (OPEX, CI).
- Deep knowledge of inventory management metrics, terms, and cost drivers.
- Customer focus with experience serving OEM and Aftermarket markets.
- Cross-tier exposure (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 suppliers).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Advanced English required.
- ERP system proficiency (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Automotive or similarly complex manufacturing background highly preferred.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily operations across four manufacturing units, ensuring revenue, cost, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met.
- Manage full P&L responsibility, aligning plant performance with corporate financial goals.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Standardize best practices across units, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
- Monitor and improve KPIs (SQTC, OEE, throughput, inventory cost drivers).
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Quality to deliver on customer and corporate commitments.
- Strengthen customer relationships, adapting to OEM and Aftermarket needs.
- Develop, coach, and mentor leadership teams, ensuring retention and engagement.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture rooted in humility, accountability, and performance.
- Ensure safety-first practices and regulatory compliance at all times.
