you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our manufacturing plant. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety throughout the plant will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices. Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing corrective actions to address any deviations from targets will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage the plant budget and resources effectively to achieve financial goals  

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct Site operations for GBE Products business in the region and be part of overseeing and directing operations for world-class Integrated supply chain operations.

Monitor and support Health, Safety programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, procedures, and regulations

Incorporate continuous improvement using Honeywell's Health and Safety initiatives through Honeywell's Operating System activities

You will assess operational issues and develop enhanced resolutions to meet or exceed customer satisfaction, productivity, quality, etc., per SBG goals and objectives. You will develop mechanisms for measuring and monitoring progress, intervention, and problem-solving with key stakeholders.

Provide industry and functional expertise and insight to guide and advise the key stakeholders.
Use your agility and ability to support clients to roll out programs, achieve metrics, and track milestones.
Inspire and influence key stakeholders to drive changes to ensure projects meet the time, cost, and quality objectives.

Own and develop tracking, refinement and reporting of key Site metrics and develop a structure in his/her ability Manage performance towards KPI targets and provide thought leadership on how to improve operations.

Optimize cost, delivery and quality through continuous improvement projects using Kaizen and Lean technologies

Drive Lean and Six Sigma culture in the Plant

Lead deployment and execution of Honeywell Operating system principles, assure process compliance through process coaching, process deployment support, driving project audits and appraisals

On need basis required to collaborate with the certification agencies for product/business qualification/certification and government agencies for Regulatory and Compliance requirements.

Develop a strong team at Site and strong in developing succession and people to develop a High Performance team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of experience, out of which five years in managing Site Operations Leadership roles covering overall Supply Chain functions viz, safety operations, Sourcing/Purchasing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Production operations, manufacturing engineering, World class manufacturing systems, Logistics, etc.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
