- Prioritize and ensure the safety of all employees while driving initiatives for the continuous improvement of work processes.

- Plan, organize, and manage all processes within the Gaziantep factory, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technological investments that contribute to increased profitability and sustainable growth.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and implement effective safety programs to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all employees.
- Develop and manage plans and programs to meet production goals, aligning with department and corporate policies, approved marketing forecasts, quality requirements, and budget constraints.
- Analyze operational costs, investigate significant deviations, plan corrective actions, and inform management. Develop and implement actions to continuously reduce production costs per ton.
- Seek continuous production improvements and ensure a continuous program to control and reduce costs while increasing quality and operational efficiency.
- Create an environment that promotes continuous improvement, participation, teamwork, and a focus on both internal and external customer satisfaction. Constantly assess these areas by setting and communicating goals and expectations, providing training, resources, equipment, and incentives for management development.
- Control raw materials and maintain inventories at an economic level.
- Oversee all physical assets of the facility, including buildings, machinery, equipment, and grounds.
- Stay informed about developments in equipment, processes, and production techniques. Recommend improvements that will enhance quality, efficiency, and facility profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and human resources laws and regulations in both Europe and Turkey.
- Contribute to healthy customer relationships through personal or staff visits to customer facilities.
- Protect and keep confidential all assets, restricted information, developments, specifications, materials, legal obligations, and other such data when in contact with competitors, suppliers, and others.
- Collaborate closely with and utilize resources from various departments such as ETG, Engineering, Recovered Paper, HR, Environment, Accounting, and Safety Coordination.
- Develop and implement Annual Safety Action Plans, Quality Action Plans, CPM improvement plans, and Cost Reduction Plans
- Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and implement regional business initiatives.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities to oversee all processes within the factory.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, and the community.
- Adherence to company instructions, procedures, and system requirements related to safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Alignment with the Sonoco Quality System requirements, with a commitment to enhancing and continuously improving quality standards.
- Graduated from Engineering faculties of universities and completed a master's degree.
- Proficient in English.
- A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in operations.
- Result and customer-oriented, open to teamwork, and adaptable to change.
- A resident of Gaziantep or willing to live in Gaziantep.
