Compensation:
- $28–$40 per hour, depending on experience. Eligible for overtime and quarterly performance bonuses.
What you'll do:
- Lead safe plant operations to meet production, throughput, quality, and profitability goals.
- Operate and monitor crushing/processing equipment; perform and/or support routine maintenance and troubleshooting; report equipment issues to Plant Manager and maintenance support.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime, efficiency, and production.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including logbooks and daily production/yard status reports.
- Conduct daily safety meetings; enforce consistent use of required PPE; promote safe and ethical work practices.
- Train, coach, and support plant personnel in job duties and safe work procedures; provide coverage for co-workers as needed to meet productivity objectives.
- Monitor parts, supplies, and PPE inventory, request replenishment in a timely manner.
- Review operations and recommend changes to improve productivity, quality, and cost control (continuous improvement).
- Support customer service and orderly yard operations, including maintaining a safe dumping area and clear signage.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in aggregate recycling operations or other process/production environment (5+ years and crushing plant equipment experience preferred)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to climb heights of 20 feet on a regular basis.
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work onsite in dusty, wet, and loud environment.
- Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, gloves and various other similar items as required or needed.
