JOB PURPOSE
Unilever has strong focus to enable the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) agenda, manufacturing footprint transformation, coupled with the future of work and human rights commitments in USLP, along with building external relationships, central monitoring and building of capabilities.
HRBP works directly with Business Leadership in strategizing, identifying, developing and managing strategic human resources programs/interventions to grow the Unilever business. S/he manages Human Resources programs/processes across geography/business covering organizational effectiveness/transformation, talent, capability & learning, performance culture, and industrial/employee relations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. HBRP CORE:
- Work with Business Leaders develop HR agenda that directly supports business strategy.
- Counsel Business Leaders on the HR aspects of key business strategies, issues and decisions
- Help the organization become future-ready by focusing on the existing workforce in the organization and prepare them for the future include Workforce Planning, Upskilling & Multiskilling, Succession Planning
- Lead innovative HR solutions to address current talent concerns/issues.
- Ensure that best talent is attracted, retained, developed, and succeeded across the functions.
- Work with business leaders on people plan in all the organizational transformation efforts of the functions supported, ensuring smooth transition and lasting organizational effectiveness as envisioned by the change project.
- Identify, develop current and future-ready capability requirements within assigned functions.
- Drive a strong performance and pioneering culture across functions characterized.
- Implement reward and recognition interventions to increase bottom-line results and employee engagement.
- Consult and facilitate leaders, managers & teams in their change processes through initiatives/program/coaching.
- Take an active and supportive role during merger and/or integration processes to understand the cultural difference and capture the good parts of the different cultures in case we have organization restructure.
- Lead People Development Pillar in UMS (Unilever Management System) in the factory to deliver the World Class Manufacturing Footprint
2. ER/IR MAJOR:
- Actively drive the global process of developing of our local & global employee relations programs
- Drives sustainable and proactive Industrial/Employee Relations programs that ensures industrial peace and harmony with the labor unions across the organization.
- Support Site Leader or Head of HRBP Supply Chain during internal & external audits required by Unilever or local authorities.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex personnel and employee relations issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed, to resolve personnel issues.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years & above experience working as HRBP Manager for factory.
- Experience working in building strong relationship with external parties.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning skill
- Knowledgeable of employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management, to help leaders ensure compliance.
- Good communication, interpersonal and cross-culture skills
- Ability to manage difficult stakeholders and get senior leadership alignment.
- Analytic & Digital literacy
