Plant HR Manager
We are hiring for a critical role at our plant, titled Plant HR Manager. While this position is known internally as the (People Experience Team Lead), the role focuses on managing Employee Relations, Union Management, driving HR digital transformation, and overseeing key HR processes and operations within the plant.

Job Description Summary
The Plant HR Manager (People Experience Team Lead) will oversee employee relations and union management, acting as the key liaison between union leaders and the handling of collective agreements.
Will lead digital projects, ensuring smooth implementation of systems like Workday and SAP, while managing core plant HR processes such as payroll, attendance, and policy execution.
Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Plant Leadership team to align HR initiatives with business goals and overseeing operational services like canteen, security, and contract hiring.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Union Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for union leaders, maintaining a strong relationship.
  • Oversee long-term settlements (LTS) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
  • Manage the ER roadmap and engage in regular conversations with the union to ensure smooth operations.


Technology & Digital Systems

  • Led and executed digital projects, including the use of systems like Workday and SAP.
  • Can Contribute to the Future forward digital project, ensuring the seamless implementation of digital initiatives at the ground level.


On-ground HR Processes & Operations

  • Work on plant HR processes and operations, Like providing payroll input, Time and attendance, Provident Fund (PF) administration, and policy execution.
  • Work closely with the PE Leads to Ensure effective delivery of HR services, Policies and Processes (Carrying out Audits, compliance, and Learning & Development initiatives, Educating the Plant Teams on the new process etc)
  • Not directly involved but Supervise various operational aspects in the plant such as c anteen services, uniforms, gardening, security, and the hiring of contractual workforce.


Collaboration with the HR Leadership Team in the Plant

  • Collaborate with the Plant Leadership (PL) team and PE team to align HR initiatives with business goals.


Experience Required

  • Strong experience in union management and employee relations.
  • Managed and Executed the implementation of digital agendas, including the Futureforward project.
  • Excellent communication skills,
