As Plant Engineer, you optimize performance of Plastipak’s industrial systems, including mechanical, electrical and facilities. You will support production operations by leading site projects, troubleshooting equipment and driving continuous improvement to increase system efficiency.
You Will:
- Support production goals by ensuring the operational integrity of equipment and systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and project management.
- Develop project proposals and lead project workflow to ensure projects delivery achieves time, quality & budget goals.
- Partner cross-functionally with customers, vendors, and technicians.
- Participate in set-up of new lines and/or new equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and repairs, serving as an emergency contact in our 24/7 facility.
- Uphold and contribute to operational best practices, including safety, quality and a culture of continuous improvement.
You Have:
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience maintaining and improving industrial systems, in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, including electrical & mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to support a 24/7 operation, being on-call as needed.
