We’re seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead financial operations at our Fort Worth manufacturing site. This role partners closely with plant leadership to provide financial insight, ensure accurate reporting, and drive cost control, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Lead plant-level financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with plant leadership to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key financial and operational metrics.
- Maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and monthly inventory reporting.
- Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory adjustments.
- Lead annual plant budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support capital investment planning and ROI analysis.
- Drive cost-reduction, process improvement, and asset utilization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
- Partner with corporate accounting on month-end close activities.
- Maintain ERP (JDE) data integrity and support system enhancements.
- Support company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Assist senior leadership with financial and strategic initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP/JDE experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills.
- Experience in a high growth manufacturing facility.
