Security Requirement: Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Responsibilities:
The Plans and Staff Coordination Services works in the administrative, logistical, and coordination duties to ensure smooth daily operations and effective task execution across multiple command elements. The key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support and coordination for J5-Plans divisions and contract staff
- Assist with travel coordination and use of the Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Support contract staff with ID cards, security badges, and computer network access
- Coordinate logistical support for daily operations, conferences, and working groups
- Schedule meeting rooms, conference spaces, and external venues as needed
- Maintain calendars for key leaders and assist with short- and long-range planning
- Provide facility and administrative support at various government locations as requested
- Serve as alternate administrator for the J5-Plans Task Management Tool (TMT)
- Disseminate, track, and update taskings from USCENTCOM, Joint Staff, and DoD
- Assist in identifying personnel to execute assigned tasks across J3, J5, and J4
- Support daily reporting, personnel evaluations, and in/out processing
- Maintain supply inventory for government purchase card holder
- Assist with personnel and facility security management
- Provide support to the Special Security Office (SSO)
- Create staff clearance validation requests
- Coordinate with SSO points of contact and update access files
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of military service
- 2+ years of experience at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters
- Strong command of the English language, with clear and grammatically correct oral and written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
