  • Enjoy opportunities for professional development within one of the world’s leading financial institutions, renowned for its commitment to employee wellbeing, training opportunities, and flexible working arrangements.

What you'll do:

As a Global Markets Planning Analyst at MUFG in Manila, you will immerse yourself in a variety of essential functions that underpin the effectiveness of the GMP team. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with colleagues on data collection projects that inform strategic decisions while also providing crucial administrative support across multiple departments. You will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is meticulously maintained and up-to-date—whether it relates to internal controls or planning desk materials. Your role will see you actively involved in preparing management reports, coordinating events or meetings, supporting project documentation needs, liaising with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, and assisting with compliance monitoring. Success in this position comes from your ability to balance multiple responsibilities with care and precision while fostering positive relationships throughout the organisation.

  • Assist in gathering and organising revenue, expense, and transaction volume data for the Global Markets Planning team under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Support the preparation of regular and ad hoc management reports by collecting relevant information and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
  • Monitor progress on new product reviews and planning tasks as instructed by supervisors, ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department including event coordination, IT administration, and timely response to business line requests.
  • Facilitate effective communication with MUFG branches across Asia as well as affiliates in the region when necessary, ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Coordinate scheduling, travel arrangements, documentation upkeep, and meeting preparation for team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Review and update manuals along with other planning-related materials while maintaining organised files for Planning Desk resources under supervision.
  • Support project activities by conducting basic tasks such as documentation management and follow-up actions as directed by senior staff.
  • Maintain issue logs related to IT systems and coordinate with technical teams under supervision to resolve any outstanding matters promptly.
  • Assist in internal control documentation, data consolidation efforts, market conduct reporting, regulatory monitoring, and compliance support as required by regional or head office planning teams.

What you bring:

To excel as a Global Markets Planning Analyst at MUFG, your background should reflect solid experience in administrative support roles where you have demonstrated reliability in managing sensitive information and complex schedules. Your technical aptitude allows you to navigate various software platforms confidently while your interpersonal skills help foster harmonious working relationships across diverse teams. You bring an organised mindset that thrives on keeping records accurate and up-to-date; your ability to juggle competing demands ensures nothing falls through the cracks even during busy periods. A keen sense of responsibility paired with enthusiasm for learning new processes will enable you to adapt quickly within MUFG’s structured yet supportive environment. While prior exposure to financial services or knowledge of regulatory frameworks is beneficial, what truly sets you apart is your willingness to collaborate openly with others while consistently delivering high standards of work.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in IT tools including macro programming as well as advanced use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for efficient data handling.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities enabling you to interact courteously and effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
  • Proven experience providing high-quality administrative support within a busy office environment or similar setting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail which ensures accuracy in all aspects of data collection, report preparation, and document management.
  • Experience coordinating events or meetings including scheduling logistics and managing related communications.
  • Sound judgement combined with a proactive approach towards resolving issues or identifying process improvements within your remit.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively while managing shifting priorities calmly under supervision from senior team members.
  • Familiarity with MUFG policies or local banking regulations would be advantageous but not essential if you have strong learning agility.
  • A degree qualification is required; at least one year’s relevant experience in administration or planning roles is desirable but not mandatory.
