Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the production planning process and ensuring the effective execution of manufacturing activities to optimize production output, quality, and delivery performance. This role supports operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by coordinating planning activities, managing production schedules, and ensuring alignment between production capacity and customer demand.

A glimpse of your daily mission

  • Manage production planning and scheduling activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery to customers.

  • Coordinate customer orders, including standard and special products, while ensuring effective use of production capacity and company assets.

  • Develop and maintain semifinished goods inventory planning to support production continuity and respond to fluctuating market demands.

  • Monitor production performance, delivery timelines, and material cost data to support operational improvements and management reporting.

  • Collaborate with data management teams to ensure accurate bill of materials structures and manufacturing data within the system.

  • Communicate daily with international operations teams regarding order changes, delivery anticipation requests, and production scheduling adjustments.

  • Lead daily planning meetings with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to align planned versus actual production output.

  • Prepare and update weekly production planning schedules for manufacturing sites in Portugal.

  • Provide planning and scheduling training to relevant stakeholders when required.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Technology, Supply Chain, or another relevant field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing planning environments.

  • Experience within the furniture industry is considered an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of production planning processes and cross-functional manufacturing operations.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Proficient with enterprise systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Skills Required
