Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Review and comprehend specifications to ensure the company is in compliance with customer processing requirements
  • Verify customer purchase orders to ensure that the company can comply with process requirements
  • Develop a detailed, step by step work instruction for manufacturing of complex machine details and the assembly of aircraft components
  • Determine the requirement of additional sketches and aides
  • Analyze customer engineering drawings and models to determine configuration changes
  • Create work order and certification documents to provide flow down of information and objective evidence of specification and conformance
  • Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
  • Generate all external and internal rework work orders
  • Adjust internal work order process steps
  • Conduct all training for planning and ITAR/EAR Monitor MRP dashboard on a daily basis

  • Track daily performance for all Planners

  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

  • Experience: 5 plus years of experience in Planning
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Other Physical Requirements

  • Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations

  • Sense of Touch

  • Finger Dexterity

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The majority of work is performed in an office setting

Skills Required
