GENERAL SUMMARY


Responsible for the execution of and project alignment with Earned Value Management (EVM) and integrated cost/schedule performance and analysis.  Supports the development and execution of complex project baselines, oversees schedule health and compliance, and drives high‑quality performance reporting. Leads the coordination across project partners (internal and external) to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and maintain accurate, realistic plans. Provides technical leadership, training and mentorship to less experienced team members and within the nuclear development organization.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Responsible for leading with minimal supervision the development, coordination, tracking and execution, to include:


  • Development, maintenance, and analysis of complex cost/schedule performance baselines, including multi‑subcontractor integration.
  • Execute monthly EVM cycles, including performance measurement, variance analysis narratives, spend forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure EVMS compliance by validating data, supporting system audits, and maintaining alignment between schedule, cost, and performance reporting.
  • Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA), trend analysis, and change order integration into project baselines.
  • Serve as advanced user and subject matter expert on Primavera P6, developing, maintaining, and auditing complex schedules across multiple scopes.
  • Lead weekly and bi‑weekly schedule review meetings, ensuring data quality, schedule integrity, and critical path accuracy.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), integrated master schedules, calendars, and methodology frameworks.
  • Implement schedule health checks, logic tracing, retained logic assessments, and best‑practice schedule governance processes.
  • Support cost forecasting, subcontractor accrual analysis, invoice validation, and cost/schedule alignment activities.
  • Develop reports, tools, templates, and methodologies to improve forecasting, transparency, and performance tracking.
  • Assist in proposal development by providing schedule, cost, and labor input; support baseline change requests and capital asset reporting requirements.
  • Act as a key scheduling and project controls liaison across project teams, partners, subcontractors, and leadership.
  • Provide strategic consultation on contractual language, EVMS standards, and scheduling approaches.
  • Communicate schedule risks, performance concerns, and recovery recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Mentor new project controls staff, providing onboarding support, coaching, and technical guidance.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including development of standardized calendars, templates, and performance tools.

Perform any special assignments and exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate proficiencies using gained knowledge through experience and education.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and ten years of industrial level experience working in a financial/budgeting/project controls/scheduling or Earned Value Management (EVM) position within a complex and/or regulated work environment or profit center;

OR

Associate’s degree and twelve years of industrial level experience working in a financial/budgeting/project controls/scheduling or EVM position within a complex and/or regulated work environment or profit center;

OR

High school diploma or GED and fourteen years of industrial level experience working in a financial/budgeting/project controls/scheduling or EVM position within a complex and/or regulated work environment or profit center.

Pay Range

$126,362.00 - $189,542.00 Annual

Midpoint:

$157,952.00

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.

Skills Required

  • Experience implementing schedule health checks, logic tracing, retained logic assessments, and critical path analysis
  • Experience supporting cost forecasting, subcontractor accrual analysis, and invoice validation to align cost and schedule
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills, including leading schedule review meetings and training junior project controls staff
