We're seeking for a motivated, Planning Operations Intern to join us at the Operations & Innovation team in Brussels for our Merchandising Planning and Inventory Management (MPIM) Department.

About The Job
  • Support the operations team for Cluster / Global S&OP process and Investment Review processes with key cross-functional partners (data gathering, deck preparation, notes and follow-up).
  • Support in the development of the Go-To-Market calendar for the department, collaborate with Merch Ops & Sales Ops team to define it and provide monthly guidelines to the Merch Planning team for monthly forecast transmission.
  • Based on business acumen and data analysis identify monthly products for left to sell actions and partner with Merch team to get final product list to flag for in season discount.
  • Partner with reporting and analytics team to ensure timely issuance, new developments, or needs for future enhancements. 
  • Support Operation Mgr for the execution and operational part of the Internal innovation projects:
    • End-to-end project planning: Co-Lead project planning sessions & ensure projects meet deadlines
    • Proactive communication: Managing relationships with internal customers, and stakeholders. Serves as a project expert
    • Risk and issue management: Escalate issues and delays, design mitigation plan when necessary
    • Project documentation: Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
    • Support testing, organize training and manage the implementation.
    • Responsible for developing together with the business the processes around the new developments

About You

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management 
  • Experience in a planning environment, retail/whls environment preferred
  • Experience in Sales and operation environment is a plus
  • Project management skill; exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus
  • Analytical skills, problem solving & attention to detail to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Word – Whimsical/ Mural/Miro/Vision/Jira is a plus
  • Proactivity, organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency, with all levels of employees throughout the organization.
  • English fluent, written and spoken

This is a hybrid position based in our Brussels office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.

Skills Required
