Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! The purpose of the Planning Manager role is to ensure the successful development, management, and execution of comprehensive project schedules for a royal high-end program. The role will be responsible for creating detailed, resource-loaded schedules that are logically structured, addressing all dependencies across different project areas and subcontractors. The Planning Manager will ensure that Consultants and Contractors progress is continuously monitored, QIC processes are followed and any deviations from the schedule are identified and communicated, and appropriate corrective actions are taken.

Ensures the preservation of all backup documentation throughout the process, working closely with information management teams.
Provides Guidance & support to the team in all aspects of Planning, Cost, Resourcing & Risk.
Work closely with project teams, including architects, designers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure alignment of schedules with project goals.
Ensures the schedule adheres to the Schedule Management Plan and Planning processes.
Resource planning – to indicate the levels of resources.
Develops and implements appropriate improvements, ensure optimal project schedule quality, and evaluate reports.
Analysis of schedule to identity performance trends, raise for management attention, with mitigation solutions. Monitor and report on critical path and schedule performance of total project.
Review of prepared schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations.
Integrates inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. Works with the performing organizations and units to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan.
Review Consultant/Contractors schedules and proactively address delays or issues, ensuring corrective measures are communicated and executed effectively.
Continually improve the quality of schedule presentation, information, and documentation.
Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans.
Clarifying the needs of team to ensure the delivery of effective services.
Review, and edit Project progress track and reporting
To produce Baseline/Target schedules for submission.
Planning and scheduling own work to meet required timelines and outputs.
Ensures weekly/monthly updating of schedules as design and construction work develops.
Manages sharing of knowledge and information within own team and with internal stakeholders
Responds accurately and in a timely manner to team queries regarding the content of the schedule submission.
Undertakes strategic planning exercises with wider team
Provide inputs in setting up processes and procedures to implement it
Identifies key interfaces and manages them efficiently to ensure seamless coordination.
Manages coordination with commercial function to implement an effective controls system covering budget, cost, reporting, risk, and change management.
What required skills you'll bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, or relevant field of study (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 10+ min years’ relevant planning experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors with a focus on high-value, luxury, or VIP projects.
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing business requirements.
Strong expertise in engineering, procurement, construction processes, and resource planning.
Strong understanding of construction methods, sequences, and luxury material specifications.
Effectively manages and prioritizes workload and delivers to tight deadlines.
Demonstrate Strong written and verbal skills in English.
Demonstrate proficient use of enterprise-level management software, such as P6, MS office (Excel, Word,)– preferred skills include Power BI
Managing a team to deliver results
