Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Planning Engineer to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain Level 1–4 schedules and updates to the Integrated Master Schedule in Primavera P6.

  • Build robust logic, calendars, and coding structures; align interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.

  • Establish and control schedule baselines; perform regular updates, progress measurement, and variance/trend analysis.

  • Conduct critical and near‑critical path analysis; run what‑if scenarios; recommend recovery/acceleration strategies.

  • Prepare resource‑loaded schedules; perform resource analysis and leveling; identify bottlenecks and coordinate resolutions with discipline leads.

  • Support schedule risk assessments; document assumptions, quantify potential impacts, and track mitigations.

  • Prepare and support time impact analyses for approved changes and identified delays; contribute to claims documentation as needed.

  • Produce clear dashboards and reporting for project leadership and clients; facilitate schedule reviews and look‑ahead planning.

  • Mentor junior planners and support continuous improvement of tools, templates, and procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7–10 years of progressive planning/scheduling experience on multi‑disciplinary projects.

  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6; working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel.

  • Strong command of CPM scheduling, baseline control, progress measurement, and variance/trend analysis.

  • Experience with resource‑loaded scheduling and cross‑functional coordination.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Professional certifications such as PMI‑SP, AACE PSP, PMP (or equivalent).

  • Experience with schedule quality and risk tools (e.g., Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis).

  • Familiarity with DCMA 14‑Point Assessment and AACE Recommended Practices.

  • Background supporting time impact analyses, delay analysis, and claims in EPC/Design‑Build environments.

  • Power BI/Tableau skills for schedule dashboards; data modeling/SQL familiarity is a plus.
