The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Monitor project progress and performance against planned schedules.
- Identify potential delays and risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather accurate progress data.
- Prepare regular reports including progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecasts.
- Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommendations to optimize timelines.
- Support project management in resource planning and allocation.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of project controls, risk management, and construction workflows.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Skills Required
