Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Planning Director to join our team at CASETiFY. As the Planning Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive the growth and success of our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives and ensure efficient execution of initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a global brand and make a significant impact on our long-term success.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive business expansion.
  2. Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure the achievement of key financial targets.
  3. Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights. Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  4. Facilitate the S&OP process to ensure cross-functional alignment and integration of demand, supply, and inventory plans. Drive consensus among stakeholders to balance supply and demand while optimizing customer service levels and operational efficiency.
  5. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and effectiveness of planning initiatives. Regularly analyze and report on performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Build and manage a high-performing planning team. Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities.
  7. Continuously review and improve planning processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Implement best practices and drive standardization across planning functions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in a similar role, preferably within the consumer goods, fashion, or tech industry.
  3. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  4. Excellent knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management principles and best practices.
  5. Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  6. Proficiency in using planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning software, Excel).
  7. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  9. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving targets.
  10. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
