ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and analytical support to the Planning & Analysis department.
  • Collect, organize, maintain, and validate financial and operational data from various systems and departments.
  • Assist with the preparation of recurring financial, operational, and management reports.
  • Compile data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
  • Assist with budget and forecast preparation by gathering departmental information, updating spreadsheets, and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Track budget and forecast submissions and follow up with departments to ensure information is received accurately and timely.
  • Assist with monitoring actual results against budget and forecast and prepare supporting variance information for review.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, reports, templates, and other P&A documentation.
  • Enter, update, reconcile, and verify data to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and systems.
  • Prepare charts, tables, summaries, presentations, and other materials for management meetings and business reviews.
  • Assist with maintaining departmental reporting schedules, calendars, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate information requests between Planning & Analysis and internal departments.
  • Respond to routine requests for financial and operational information and direct complex requests to the appropriate P&A team member.
  • Assist with gathering information for financial models, forecasts, business cases, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Perform routine data analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, variances, and items requiring additional review.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in reports, spreadsheets, and supporting data.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and distribution of key performance indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files in accordance with department procedures and record-retention requirements.
  • Assist with process documentation and identify opportunities to improve administrative and reporting processes.
  • Support special projects, audits, system implementations, and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Handle confidential financial, operational, employee, and business information with appropriate discretion.
  • Provide professional and responsive service to internal customers and business partners.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Two or more years of administrative, financial, accounting, business operations, reporting, or analytical experience preferred.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, financial reports, or business information systems.
  • Experience in a hospitality, gaming, entertainment, or other high-volume operational environment preferred.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions.
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Experience with accounting or enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Experience with business intelligence or reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  • Experience with workforce management, payroll, labor, or operational reporting.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts.
  • Experience in a casino, resort, hotel, or other hospitality environment.
