We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Planning Analyst within the Planning group of the Onshore Resources & Carbon Management team based in Denver, Colorado. 

 

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Capital outlook including tracking, reconciling and reporting Rockies capital for outlook  

  • FCF/NAV tracking and reporting for Rockies 

  • Well cost tracking and reporting 

  • Provide financial support as needed to assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and outlooks, including production and development capital 

  • Assist with special projects 

  • Assist in the preparation of materials for investor relations and earnings calls 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business/economics or related discipline; CPA, MBA or related advanced degree is a plus 

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting, economic evaluation or operational analysis experience 

  • Experience in economic and financial modeling, in oil and gas economics and planning software, such as PEEP or Enersight, and with financial reporting 

  • Experience with oil and gas development and operational planning 

  • Strong understanding of business unit planning process and critical targets and metrics used for goal-setting and performance management 

  • Strong data management and/or programming language skills 

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills 

  • Must be adaptable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines 

  • Ability to interact effectively with team members, business unit/functional leadership, and other personnel at various levels of responsibility and to handle a variety of roles within a multidisciplinary team 

  • Capable of handling multiple assignments, setting tactical priorities and delivering results under time constraints and at times with limited data 

The salary range for this position is:$ 120,000 - $ 165,000 Annual

*Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements may receive consideration for higher-level role given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
