Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Planner to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our project in Cairo, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

  • Participate in the preparation of the Contract Baseline Schedule and / or Revised Schedules in co-ordination with the lead planner and the advice & guidance of the Planning Manager and the project team. 
  • Prepare the progress update monitoring sheets for the various project phases and disciplines to allow performing periodic project schedule updates.  
  • Prepare & Update periodically the “Progress Performance Curves & “Key Performance Indicators” in coordination with the lead planner to monitor the project performance. 
  • Highlight to the project management about any deviation in the plan - “out of sequence”- and be able to implement the required corrective actions. 
  • Record the daily progress and prepares the site daily report. 
  • Liaise and assists the project controls manager in preparing weekly, monthly reports, budget preparation and maintains proper project planning records. 
  • Cost Reporting and Monitoring
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from reputed and recognized university.
  • 4 years’ working experience in similar position with EPC Construction company.
  • Full awareness of Primavera (P6) is a must + Microsoft Office + general planning processes requirements.
  • Fluency in English

  •  Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly preferable.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4 years' experience in a similar position with an EPC construction company
  • Full awareness of Primavera P6
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of general planning processes
  • Fluency in English
