We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Planner working within the Compression Systems Central planning and Control Team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple manufacturing sites, supporting production planning, inventory control and operational performance within a highly complex manufacturing environment.
Compression Systems produce high complexity components which are critical to performance of Rolls-Royce’s engines.

What you will be doing:
Key responsibilities include:
Working directly for the Manufacturing Business Unit MBU Head of Planning.
Ensuring accurate reporting of MBU Inventory and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) compliance measures.
Monitoring adherence to financial inventory control processes.
Monitoring adherence to ERP compliance guidelines.
Aggregation and analysis of production and supply plans across 13 manufacturing facilities.
Point of contact for excess inventory applications across the MBU, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
Provide planning support, dealing with ad hoc scenarios linked to demand change.
Liaising with planning and control teams across our 13 manufacturing facilities.
What we are looking for:
Strong IT skills essential – predominately Excel and SAP.
Experience of working in an operational manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
An understanding of load and capacity planning.
Experience of Production scheduling, work in progress (WIP) management and Inventory control.
Understanding of Product Introduction processes and their interaction with Manufacturing.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
