About the Role

The Planner plays a critical role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, reliable production scheduling, and on-time product delivery. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is responsible for optimizing material planning, maintaining ERP data accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to support production requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with operations, procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure critical components are available when needed and that production schedules are executed efficiently. You will also help improve planning systems and supplier performance to support Doodle Labs’ continued growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure on-time delivery targets of 95%+ by managing material availability for production schedules
  • Plan and coordinate material procurement and inventory requirements to support manufacturing timelines
  • Optimize ERP system usage by maintaining accurate item master data, BOM structures, and inventory records
  • Perform data validation and process improvements to enhance ERP accuracy and operational efficiencyDevelop and manage supplier performance tracking to improve delivery reliability and reduce lead times
  • Lead supplier discussions to address performance gaps and resolve supply chain issues
  • Analyze historical data and collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop demand forecasts with 85%+ accuracy
  • Adjust demand forecasts regularly based on real-time data and business needs
  • Implement inventory classification methodologies (e.g., ABC analysis) to optimize stock levels and tracking
  • Monitor inventory levels, open purchase orders, and work-in-progress materials through regular review meetings
  • Support production scheduling by identifying constraints and resolving potential bottlenecks

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or a related role in a manufacturing or technology environment
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems, including inventory management, BOM structures, and production planning
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across sales, procurement, operations, and production teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and system integrity
  • Ability to manage priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced operational environment
