The Role and Responsibilities
Overview:
- To be responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of project and department schedules and associated documents
- Populate and maintain equipment & resource requirements for all tasks within the plans and report results to relevant personnel
- Assist in the establishment, reporting, forecasting and maintenance of the project planning system and procedures
- Support Lead Planner with any contract specific reporting or tasks
Main Responsibilities and Activities:
- Build, develop and maintain as required the assigned plans and update these as requested
- Be responsible for the Issue of updated assigned plans / schedules and associated reports to relevant personnel
- Monitor progress and report on impact of shortfalls in the assigned plans to relevant parties
- Liaise with the project team and planners to resolve conflicts
- To carry out all works in compliance with Corporate, Client and Project specific procedures
- To ensure the requisite quality of data is maintained
- To ensure the timely issue of accurate, updated plans and associated documents at the agreed intervals
- To promote good working relations within the Project Teams and other EnerMech departments and client representatives
- Work with Lead Planner to detail process documents
- Attend meetings etc. when required
- Assist in planning related tasks when required
Gate Tracker Duties:
- Update Gate Control Sheet with new information as it becomes available
- To ensure gate control spreadsheets match associated asset plans and are refreshed after changes
- Update changes to schedule resulting from gate control meetings
Integrated Planning Duties:
- Work with Lead Planner to produce integrated planning process/training documents
You Are
Recognised Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Degree or higher education in a technical subject
- Proven experience of planning/scheduling using MS Project
- Proven ability to operate Microsoft Suite including the internet
- Excellent organization and coordination skills
Preferred:
- Oil & Gas experience in a project delivery capacity
- Primavera P6 experience
