About Our Founder

Gucci Westman has more than 20 years of professional experience as a major editorial makeup artist, contributing to publications like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.  Gucci is known for creating dewy, supernaturally glowy looks and her highly coveted “second-skin approach” to makeup, resulting in naturally beautiful, radiantly amplified skin.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Planner to join our Global Business Planning team, reporting to the VP. In this collaborative role, you will contribute to the development of strategic business plans, working cross-functionally to gather data, conduct analysis, and present actionable insights. Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of strategic plans to drive brand growth and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure planning initiatives align with brand objectives.
  • Support the Global Planning team in ensuring the execution of these plans across different business functions.
  • Support the demand forecasting process by collecting and analyzing sales trends and market data.
  • Help create and maintain inventory strategies to ensure optimal product availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in minimizing excess stock while ensuring sufficient product availability to meet demand.
  • Aid in the planning and coordination of new product launches, ensuring timelines are met, and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Help track and update launch calendars and timelines, ensuring successful execution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth product introductions and assist in any required documentation or tracking.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of planning initiatives.
  • Participate in regular meetings and communicate updates to key stakeholders regarding planning activities.
  • Help gather and analyze market insights, including competitor research, to support planning efforts.
  • Assist in identifying potential trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Global Planning team, ensuring deadlines are met, and documents are organized.
  • Track and manage project timelines, ensuring that key deliverables are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a planning, demand forecasting, or related role (cosmetics or beauty industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or other data management tools (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting software, forecasting tools)
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Westman Atelier offers a holistic total compensation package designed to support employees in all aspects of life, including a robust suite of health benefits, wellness perks, 401k, and paid parental leave. The base salary for this position will range from $90,000 - $100,000. Exact compensation may vary based on job related skills, experience, and location.
