Quanex is looking for a Production Scheduler to join our team located in Cannon Falls, MN.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Develop procedures and oversee the scheduling of all production lines to satisfy the needs for customer orders and to achieve the most efficient utilization of equipment and labor.
  • Monitor production schedule to ensure needed raw materials are available to meet the needs of the line schedules.
  • Coordinate with production and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery dates and service level targets.
  • Work with purchasing of raw materials to maintain targeted levels of raw material inventory for our operations.
  • Support production & efficiency goals & coordinate with other departments regarding raw material and production issues.
  • Assist with plant trial scheduling with technical and production teams and submit recommended schedule changes.
  • Provides feedback to the Production Manager related to volume of business and recommends production hours needed.

Your Credentials:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in a business field of study.
  • A minimum of two years in similar manufacturing scheduling experience. 
  • Must have a reasonable knowledge and experience with of Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and analytical individual with good interpersonal skills. 

Salary range is $50,950-60,500 commensurate with bonus potential
