UCT is looking for a talented Planner II to join us in Philippines!

Job Summary:

The Planner – main responsibilities are primarily focused on ensuring availability of raw materials based on customer orders and forecasts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer demand forecasts vs. actual orders.
• Balance supply vs. demand to meet delivery targets (OTD – On-Time Delivery).
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations for demand changes.
• Plan for build-ahead or backlog recovery strategies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read technical details on a weldment print.
• Experience with weldment manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-changing environments.
• Ability to use ERP estimating systems such as Visual, Vista, Oracle, etc. MS Excel, Word and Access.Good communication and coordination skills

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience. 

Experience Requirement: 

Work Experience:

• 2-5 years in quoting or weldment manufacturing

Overnight Travel:

• Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment, training and meetings ~ 5%
