Join Ecolab’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) team in Buenos Aires as an Equipment Planner – Materials Management, supporting Nalco Water and contributing to the efficient planning and management of equipment and materials. In this role, you will manage raw material suppliers that support North American production and help shape strategies that strengthen supply resiliency, improve supplier performance and value, and reduce raw material related failures to drive value for our customers.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed, strategic thinker with strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. This role reports to the Senior Planning Manager for North America Planning within Nalco Water Global Supply Chain.

- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

What You Will Do:

  • Drive and execute material management of tight materials i.e., materials with supply chain challenges: force majeure, market tightness, planned maintenance, logistics constraints.
  • Drive and support material management for NPI, new part setup, and prototyping activities.
  • Drive and develop supplier engagement to enable continuity of supply.
  • Partner with Planning, Procurement, OBL, and sites to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Assist with transportation expedites of tight materials such as hot shots, air freight, ocean freight.
  • Support sites on required inventory levels for critical raw materials.
  • Establish business reviews with key suppliers to govern KPI’s, drive improvements, and establish additional value in partnership with Procurement.
  • Support sites with key master data management and supply chain parameters in ERP System (e.g., safety stock, planning master data, lead times, forecast accuracy)
  • Lead and/or support Supply Chain related projects.
  • Other areas of responsibility could include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following: placing purchase orders, proactive management of purchase orders, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning with global operations
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • High level of proficiency with common ERP systems, specifically Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP).
  • Position requires a high-level proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related degree
  • Advanced degree a plus
  • A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of the organization.
  • APICS Certification.
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean 6 sigma, continuous improvement, etc.
