Job Description
Plan Review Coordinator
Come join our growing team! Training will be provided, computer experience required. Produce highly accurate and thoroughly complete plan reviews in a consistent and timely manner. Locate and download blueprints from builder websites. Communicate with builders to ensure building characteristics on file are accurate and up to date. Review blueprints, collect data (i.e. square footage, volume, etc.) and enter information into energy rating software. Communicate with the QC Team regarding completed plan reviews for final reports (i.e. new, revisions, etc.). Communicate with utility companies and builders regarding confirmed ratings. Compile Energy Star reports consisting of testing targets, HERS Indexes, etc. and submit to builders. Training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- Computer experience a must.
- Skilled Microsoft Suite (i.e. Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- 2 year college degree preferred (a plus but not required)
- 3-5 years work-related experience (a plus but not required)
- Skilled in Autodesk Design Review and DWG TrueView, Adobe PDF, AutoCAD systems (a plus but not required)
- Skilled in Energy Rating Software (a plus but not required)
Daily Tasks and Functions:
- Demonstrate understanding of residential construction practices (i.e. codes, climate zones, requirements, etc. involving the EPA, DOE, IECC, etc.)
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
- Read and review blueprints
- Utilize understanding of Building Science
- Research accounts and identify discrepancies
