The Pit Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and the compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures and supervises the operation of assigned table games to ensure game integrity and guest satisfaction. Functions as a Floor Person.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Enforce performance standards, policies and procedures relating to Table Games and ensuring compliance with the Gaming Regulations.
  2. Observe games, guests, and dealers, to preserve the integrity of the department.
  3. Promotes positive guest relations providing an enjoyable gaming experience by answering questions, resolving disputes, etc.
  4. Assists in training and evaluating of subordinate Team Members in a fair and equitable manner.
  5. Responsible for tracking and reporting guests on the appropriate forms.
  6. Is responsible for ensuring fills and credits are submitted and retrieved.
  7. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  8. Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Must be able to pass all department tests according to table games standards as outlined in the Department Policies and Procedures.
  10. Must have working knowledge of Card Counting, and Money Management Systems
  11. Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
  12. All other departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. The minimum age requirement is 21.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Minimum 2 years exposure to card operations.
  4. Excellent guest service skills a must.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
  6. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand for entire shift, talk, hear, walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  2. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  4. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  5. Must be able to work in a noisy, smoke-filled, fast-paced environment.
  6. The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
  7. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
  8. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills Required
