POSITION SUMMARY
Conduct all assigned tasks, duties, and responsibilities related to the operation, monitoring, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of pipeline systems, including any additional functions as directed by the supervisor/manager. Including being available for after-hours and callouts as required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Some technical education preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Zero-1+ years’ experience with hazardous liquids or gas pipeline and knowledge of pipeline equipment
- Basic mathematical calculations and computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including working after hours to include holidays, weekends, and working relief for other personnel
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Ability to adjust schedules to meet business needs
- Effective problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with transmission pipeline systems, pump stations, and associated equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and applying O&M procedures, EH&S standards, and DOT regulations to daily tasks
- Familiar with Microsoft Access, MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Pint as well as other computer-based work training, time reporting, expense reporting, and online work applications and documentation
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain Operator (OQ) certifications for compliance with DOT regulations
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of pipeline facilities in accordance with company standards
- Promote a safe, healthy, and clean work environment
- Participate in DOT/PHMSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and after-hours calls
- Ensure reliable work attendance and occasional overnight travel as required
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding progress, concerns, and questions

- Adherence to all company standards and procedures
- Perform regulatory procedures and inspections with accurate documentation
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including company policies and procedures
- Reliable work attendance
- Must be available for after-hours and callouts as required

- Must have a valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving records
