Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a CAD Pipeline Drafter for our Houston, TX location. Some of the responsibilities will include
- Perform drafting assignments in AutoCAD Civil 3D for pipeline construction
- IFB/IFC alignment sheet creation
- Working on permit drawing projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA / BS +2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 2 years of IFB/IFC pipeline alignment sheet plan and profile drawing creation on Civil3D
- 2 years of pipeline typical drawings and permit drawing creation
- 2 years working with civil survey data for pipeline design/mapping
- Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the following:
- Creating map templates and sheet frames and Familiarity with data shortcuts
- Creating and editing surfaces and surface profiles
- Reading survey points and point groups
- Working with offset alignments
- Creating KMZs and exporting shapefiles and handling XREFs and large base files
- Sponsorship is not available for this position
- Relocation is not available for this position

Skills Required
